Asia was adopted by us as a puppy and the same day the owner took her home she was stolen out of his yard. 3 years later she was picked up by Animal Services in good condition, healthy etc. She was identified by her microchip which had not had time to be changed to the owner's name so came back to us. By then the owner had gotten another dog so we now can place Asia for adoption. She is sweet we have kept her long enough to observe any bad traits or problems she might have and we see none she does not try to jump the fence and seems fine with other dogs she is a mix of greyhound and Lab this is what the original owner told us 3 years ago. She seems to match that now that she is grown. She has the long floppy ears of a hound or lab. We suggest to all owners of flop eared dogs to take a small plastic water bottle and put a dash of white vinegar in it fill with clean water take a cotton ball, wet and dab and pat dry this will save owners a lot of problems which can arise in this part of the country with sand in ears etc. Dog is eating Pedigree kibble adult and moist and eats once a day. A dog should never lose weight and we suggest to all our clients they weigh their dogs for the first few months often to check this because they do have a health guarantee of 90 days through the kennel and weight loss for no apparent reason can be a problem. The dog is an outside dog but dogs cannot without companions or human contact they cannot be chained by law.
